Chatou itself embodies my philosophy: objects being reused, rediscovered and recontextualised rather than discarded. And the fact that the fair has been held on the Île des Impressionnistes since 1970 gives me a beautiful connection between my attraction to 1970s objects, photography, image-making and the history of looking.
